Kedarkantha is a 5-day trek in Uttarakhand's Govind Wildlife Sanctuary that takes you to a 12,500-ft summit through some of the thickest snow you'll walk through as a beginner. It starts from Sankri and moves through pine and oak forest, past a frozen lake at Juda-ka-Talab, up to a summit ridge that opens into a 360-degree view of the Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Kalanag ranges.
