Trek through the dense pine forests alongside the Grahan nallah to the beautiful, traditional village of Grahan.
Take it easy on the ascent; it's a long walk to Grahan.
Climb steeply out of Grahan, leaving the tree line behind to reach the expansive meadows of Min Thatch.
The trail gets steeper today; maintain a slow and steady rhythm.
A short but incredibly steep hike to Nagaru, the highest campsite on the trek, which offers stunning sunset views.
Nagaru is notoriously windy and cold; layer up as soon as you reach camp.
The longest and most thrilling day. Climb up the snow to Sar Pass, enjoy the views, and slide down towards the beautiful meadows of Biskeri Thatch.
Start before dawn to cross the pass while the snow is still hard.
Descend steeply through dense forests to the village of Pulga, cross the Parvati river, and drive back to Kasol.
You can catch an evening bus from Kasol or Bhuntar for your onward journey.
